Offering equity injection to South-East Asia start-ups

Dear all-

On behalf of one of my major clients (middle-age European UHNWI, former Internet entrepreneur himself) I am actively looking for professionally managed start-ups / new companies in South-East Asia that are seeking further private funding.

More specificly we are looking for:

- ONLY Venture Capital for Start-ups or Private Equity/MBO deals
- Entity needs to be in place and active, yet / nothing from plain scratch
- Our focus: agriculture & food production/distribution, domestic retail, construction material production/distribution, (renewable) energy production/distribution, resources, travel service providers, water treatment, and new media/software
- Any other segment can also be looked at, if promising (but no guarantees...)
- Needs to be headquartered in South-East Asia, preferrably Sg (not China/India!)
- Focus on: Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia (China branch OK)
- Total investment USD 25mn (= top-up of his existing regional investment basket)
- Each individual deal needs to be in the range of USD 0.5-2.5mn equity
- Possible extra loan guaranty, mezzanine, etc from investor
- The investor needs to assume an active role as Board Member, Mentor, etc.
- Only shares in the project’s (local!) holding vehicle / no sub-sub structures
- Investment needs to go into the project directly / no cash-out, etc.
- Prospected net returns min. 15% p.a. and rising according to "risk"
- Involvement should last 1 to 4 years / any exit ideas OK[/b]

If interested and fitting, the investor is also offering managerial support (mainly Marketing, Networking, structure setup, etc.) based out of Singapore.
