Mission- to provide the man in the street with a user-friendly, hassle-free, one-stop-guide website on products and services.
Vision- a website that guides the layperson to the most popular or value for money product in a few simple clicks.
Plan- a website called uvote.com
Products – global in nature and similar (a pc in USA made by HP is the same as the Pc in Singapore)
Services- different across region ( KFC service in USA is different from KFC service in Singapore)
In this website, user vote for their favourite cars model, LCD tv, restaurant, shirt, handphone, etc. Information is time sensitive. Votes may be solicited on a monthly basis. Pls give your valuable inputs. Thank u for reading.

Ok, so how are you going to profit from all this?
Mean and head moderator tried a voting website before. Didn't work out. Nobody was bothered to vote. Didn't reach the "tipping point" Where people WANT to vote. Didn't reach out to enough people.

Why must they contribute to this website with their article?
The website will not have a login to eliminate hassle. Facebook or social networking website will be the tool to screen out unknown users. All users must have a real person photo of themselves and friends in the social network. This is for tracing the background of users to ensure the quality of the complaints.
The reason to vote is for being the first to try a specific product and the prestige of being first to write an article on it. Rewards like vouchers from eg. NTUC may be given for the experienced users who votes most. Special mention of their name will give them further prestige. Lastly experts in their respective fields will be invited to vote as well.

The idea of using facebook as a login is a good idea. Using the existing accounts, and the ability to network the results wof the polls is a good idea.
In fact, it's such a good idea that instead of setting up a site 'uvote', why not make a facebook application call uvote that does the same time. You'll save a lot of trouble to make a site to correspond with facebook.
